NIBE Energy Systems Limited has launched NIBE Home, a new direct-to-consumer installation service that brings the entire heat pump journey under one roof, marking a significant step in the company’s UK growth and in simplifying the adoption of low-carbon home heating.
At a time when demand for alternatives to traditional gas boilers is accelerating, NIBE Home has been designed to remove complexity from the installation process, one of the key barriers facing homeowners today.
The new offering, available in England and Wales, enables homeowners to install an air source heat pump directly through NIBE, one of the world’s most experienced manufacturers, with every stage, from initial quote and home design to installation, servicing and long-term monitoring, managed from start to finish.
At its core, NIBE Home reflects a clear and differentiated proposition: “the heat pump installed by the people who make it.”
NIBE Home introduces a streamlined, service-led model that gives homeowners a single, trusted point of contact throughout the entire process.
Through this approach, customers benefit from:
- An online journey that includes an indicative quote and tailored system recommendation
- A detailed property survey and tailored design (with a fixed fee redeemable against purchase)
- Full system installation and commissioning by NIBE
- Ongoing monitoring and support
- Three years’ servicing included
- A range of payments options available
Where a project falls outside the scope of NIBE Home, homeowners will be referred to a network of trusted NIBE Pro partners (fully trained and MCS-certified installers), ensuring the same high standards of quality and expertise.
By combining manufacturing expertise with direct delivery, NIBE ensures consistency, quality and accountability at every stage, helping homeowners move forward with confidence.
With more than 40 years’ experience in heat pump technology and, as it marks 20 years in the UK with its 20 Years Ahead campaign, NIBE has built a strong reputation through its products and installer network.
The launch of NIBE Home represents a strategic evolution of that model – extending NIBE’s role beyond manufacturing to deliver a fully integrated, end-to-end solution, while continuing to support and collaborate with its professional partners.
The service also aligns with wider UK decarbonisation ambitions, including efforts to scale up heat pump adoption through government-backed initiatives such as the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS).
Russell McNally, Head of Operations – NIBE Home, commented:
“NIBE Home is a major step forward, not just for NIBE, but for how heat pumps are delivered in the UK. Too often, homeowners are faced with a fragmented and confusing process.
“With NIBE Home, we’re removing those barriers by bringing everything together into one seamless experience. It’s about making the transition to low-carbon heating simpler, more transparent and ultimately more accessible,” he added.
Paul Smith, Managing Director of NIBE Energy Systems (UK), said:
“This is an important milestone for NIBE in the UK. As we celebrate 20 years in the UK market, the launch of NIBE Home marks the next phase in our evolution, building on our strong foundations to deliver a more integrated, end-to-end experience for homeowners.
“We’ve long been known for the quality of our products and the strength of our installer network. NIBE Home builds on that foundation, allowing us to take greater ownership of the customer journey while continuing to support our partners. As the market continues to evolve, making heat pumps easier to adopt will be critical and NIBE Home is a key part of how we will support that transition,” he added.
As the UK accelerates its shift towards low-carbon home heating, simplifying the customer journey will be critical to increasing uptake. By offering a fully managed, manufacturer-led installation service, NIBE is helping to set a new benchmark, making heat pumps more accessible, more straightforward and easier for homeowners to adopt with confidence.
