Eco Technology Show announces full programme of expert speakers

Brighton’s Eco Technology Show has added a raft of new expert speakers to its already powerful line-up, ahead of what is shaping up to be its biggest event yet. The free programme of over 70 seminars covers some of the latest build-related discussion points and trends.

Highlights for build professionals include:

  • How to achieve an affordable Code 5 home: Learn from Nicola Thomas, director at Arch Angels Architects on how to build a home that meets stringent environmental performance criteria can be made affordable.
  • Achieving part L and beyond in the face of regulatory uncertainty: Martin Russell of RICS explains how to comply with regulations when it comes to the conservation of fuel and power.
  • The energy express retrofit solution: Learn about this ‘Kwik Fit’ approach to domestic retrofit from Energy Express MD Philip Strong.
  • How do we engage consumers more: Phillip Sellwood, Energy Saving Trust CEO, on his firm’s research into consumer attitudes to renewables and energy efficiency.

These will join key speakers such as former Renewable Energy Association CEO Gaynor Hartnell and Andy Lewry of BRE, who will discuss the renewables marketplace and latest solutions for building energy management respectively.

At the Eco Technology Show, builders and installers will also get the opportunity to network with other professionals and exchange ideas. There are five meeting rooms and a communications hub with free advice from experts.

New exhibitors that will interest build professionals include Waterblade, which is showcasing its innovative water saving device for taps and Skyrad which combines solar panels with patented insulation for cost efficient heating and hot waters systems.

Eco Technology Show director Nicola Gunstone, said:

The Eco Technology Show will be open from 9.30am-5pm on Thursday 11 June and 9.30am-4.30pm on Friday 12 June.
